Meet the Board of Directors 2010 Greg is the president and CEO of Acacia Information Technologies LLC, which he founded in Tucson in 1992. Acacia IT helps businesses with their computer, networking and other IT needs using onsite and remote technicians. "We specialize in helping companies utilize new and emerging technologies to enhance their business advantages". Greg is involved in several business organizations such as; South of 45, Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA), Business Alliance of Southern Arizona (BASA) and was recently appointed to the Tucson Small Business Commission by Rodney Glassman. Greg and his wife Chris also support several charitable organizations such as; Colton's Friends, Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT), United Way Young Leaders Society, Tucson Country Day School, Institute for Better Education (IBE) and Youth on their Own (YOTO) Vice President Samreen Khan is currently Director of Vail Internal Medicine, that provides excellence in Primary medical care for adults right here in Vail. Previously, Samreen owned and held the position of CEO for Visiting Angels of the Sonoran Desert. Samreen has also had an extended career in Senior Management in Health Care, Business and Software Development corporations. Samreen holds a Masters degree in Health Care Administration from The Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Samreen and her husband, Dr. Azam, are Vail residents and proud parents of two beautiful children, Nida and Zane. Treasurer Peter is a licensed mortgage loan originator, a 35 year resident of Southern Arizona, happily married for 25 years and proud father of two daughters, both of whom attended Cienega High School and are on full scholarships at UA. Peter is active in many community organizations and serves on the board of the Ft Lowell Soccer Club, but his “heart belongs to the town between the tracks.” Secretary Ed is an independent Financial Advisor and enjoys helping his clients develop and execute "game plans" to pursue the lifestyle and retirement goals they have for themselves and their families. He also enjoys helping small businesses provide employee benefits. Ed and his beautiful wife of 34 years; Michelle, moved from Tucson to their home in Vail in 2004 and are thrilled to call Vail home. Securities and investment advisory services are offered through SagePoint Financial, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC and a registered investment advisor. He has served individual and small business clients in Southern Arizona since 1984 while gaining valuable experience at Shearson Lehman Hutton, Paine Webber and Quick & Reilly before going "independent" in 2002. Large Tammy is the regional commercial sales executive for Republic Services, also known as “The Trash Lady”. A resident of Southern Arizona for over 25 years, she has lived in the Rincon Valley for most of the last 14 years and wants to help the town of Vail to grow responsibly as an integral part of the Southern Arizona community.
